It all started when…

Monique Henry-Hudson moderator, producer and digital content creator was asked to create the "Black In Animation" panel for Blerd City Con in Brooklyn in July of 2018. Childhood friend and publicist Jade Seaberry came along for moral support. After amazing feedback Jade saw potential for more and thought it was something that needed to continue. Thus DiverseToons was created a month later. This educational foundation brings awareness to the lack of diversity within studios worldwide. It is also a place to make connections and hopefully learn how you can make a way in the door for yourself from the people on our panels. Henry-Hudson left DiverseToons in 2022 to further her personal creative ventures but still supports Jade’s vision.
